1. What types of discrimination does the AGG provide protection against at work?
The General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) prohibits discrimination at work because of
- race,
- ethnicity,
- gender,
- religion or belief,
- disability, age or
- sexual identity.
These are called ‘protected characteristics’.
